DESCRIPTION:Darryl was born and raised in Canora. Once he graduated\, he moved away to attend the U of S. Met the love of his life Donna and together raised Ally and Kody. They quickly made Canora their home.\nDarryl has two passions in life...his family and sports. He is always supporting his kids\, guiding them wherever their paths take them. When he’s not talking about them\, you can always strike up a conversation about the latest trade or last nights game.\nIt is no surprise that the past few years\, our community has seen Darryl volunteer his time at our course. He could be found organizing a tourney\, collecting prizes\, brainstorming ideas to increase the youth on the course or grilling steaks. He also sat as the GM of the Yorkton Cardinals in 2016 and 2017. And lastly\, Darryl is a constant crowd supporter at the Canora Supers games.\nIn April\, he was diagnosed with cancer. The news of this was shocking to his family and community. His family has rallied around him and now his community can do the same.\nOn Sept 27 from 4-9pm\, you can come down to the course\, have a drink or two\, eat some wings and bid on some awesome items.\nAll proceeds are going to the Rock family to help with any of Darryl’s expenses.\nIf you’d like to donate any items for the silent auction or have any questions\, please contact Alissa Wilson at 306-563-7935 or wilsonalissa@sasktel.net\nOn behalf of the Rock family\, we thank you ❤️
