Canora in Bloom is Canora’s infamous annual summer festival that attracts many tourists to our community. Running the third week in July every year the festival features a week long of family friendly events. Events such as numerous pool activities, movie nights, children’s carnival, summer fun spot, an evening garden tour, family street dance, golf night, an old fashioned picnic with local musicians and numerous dinners and suppers hosted by local community groups.

Connecting Canora’s Colours

A day of cultural exploration!

Will showcase the ethnic backgrounds of the area and explore our heritage over a one-day event. Plans include entertainment, workshops, ethnic food, and an opportunity to explore the various cultures through displays and information booths. All groups, organizations and interested individuals are encouraged to become involved.

Winter Lights Festival

The Winter Lights Festival is a week-long festival that takes place the first week in December each year. This event allows Canora and area residents to celebrate winter in Saskatchewan. The festival has become a highly-anticipated event in Canora featuring events such as family skate with Santa, family movie night, youth event, children’s carnival, an evening parade followed by a community bonfire and fireworks display, and numerous dinners hosted by local community groups. The event is fueled by community spirit and centers around the decorations that light up Main Street.
